Every Quick Cymraeg lesson begins with a short conversation based on an everyday situation.

You might be ordering a coffee, greeting a friend, going to the pub or arranging to meet someone.

The first time, just listen. You don't need to understand every word. In fact, sometimes you won't understand much at all. That's fine.

You'll hear the conversation again before we begin taking it apart.

Yes. You'll probably find that some language comes back surprisingly quickly, and the early lessons focus on turning familiar pieces of Welsh into things you can actually say.

Quick Cymraeg mainly teaches natural spoken Welsh from the south of Wales.

When there are important alternatives you're likely to hear elsewhere, we'll point them out. You don't need to learn several versions of everything at once.
